CES 2022: Samsung's Galaxy A Series Phones Are Seriously Good Looking
Samsung'southward mobile partitioning has been shy at CES this year, non scheduling meetings or talking upwardly its products much. In fact, the company certainly has a claiming, as shown by the dislocated fellow I met at the Samsung CES booth.
He claimed American Airlines took abroad his Galaxy S7 telephone because information technology might explode—non the Annotation vii, the perfectly condom S7.
Simply Samsung did announce some new phones at CES, and they look adept. The Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 are new mid-range handsets, and they take some of the blueprint linguistic communication from the Samsung Galaxy S7 and bring them to much less expensive devices.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (above middle, right) is a petty bigger and a little better, with a v.2in 1080p screen, 16MP cameras on the front and back, a 1.9GHz processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a 3,000mAh battery. All the same, the basic hands-on story is the same hither: a very bright, very colourful screen, and a smooth, rounded unibody that doesn't rely on cheap-feeling plastics or textures. (The Samsung Galaxy A7, which isn't on display, is like the Samsung Galaxy A5 but with a 5.5in screen.)
All 3 volition compete with LG's K Series, which we saw earlier this week at CES, and I think Samsung has the lead on design. LG offers removable batteries, which, undoubtedly, will be of import to some. Just by going unibody with sealed-in batteries, Samsung manages to make midrange phones that look like much more expensive devices. I'k pretty certain that a layperson wouldn't exist able to tell an Samsung Galaxy A5 and a Galaxy S7 apart. Both phones integrate Samsung Pay, which works with standard credit card terminals, non just NFC terminals—a cool added feature.
Unfortunately, it does not appear as though the A-series will come up to the US, and that's a shame. These phones could do very well here.
